Texas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board(TALCB) The Texas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board (TALCB) is a regulatory agency of the State of Texas. It was created in 1991 to license, certify and regulate real estate appraisers in Texas. The TALCB replaced the Texas Real Estate Appraiser Certification Committee of the Texas Real Estate Commission.
The Appraisal Foundation (ASB & AQB) The Appraisal Foundation, a non-profit organization established in 1989, is dedicated to the professional advancement of the appraisal profession. The Foundation accomplishes its mission through the work of its two independent Boards, the Appraisal Standards Board and the Appraiser Qualifications Board.
